Job summary

Sundt Construction seeks an entry-level Project Engineer to be the technical information source for the project, answering questions about drawings, specs, shop drawings and change orders. The role includes three steps (I, II and Senior) to progressively build skills and experience.

You'll help write change orders, RFIs, minutes and submittals, maintain professional relationships with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers, and support BIM coordination and LEED documentation

Qualifications

• Entry-level position requiring a four-year construction-related degree or equivalent field experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication and coordination with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Assists Project Engineer as the technical information source for the project and supports change orders, RFl's, and submittals.
• Develops and maintains as-built drawings and assists in budget forecasting and cost control.
• Supports safety culture and quality management per the project plan.
• Coordinates BIM efforts between subcontractors and designers as needed.
• Produces weekly quantity logs and supports project documentation and meeting minutes.
