Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Mid-Level Field Engineer to join our Northwest District team in the United States. You will report to a Project Engineer or Project Manager and contribute to contract administration, planning, scheduling, and project reporting.

The role emphasizes health and safety, quality, and ethical workmanship on heavy civil projects along the West Coast. The position supports site operations and office engineering, requiring travel and relocation as needed to match project

Responsibilities

• Assist in interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews.
• Perform quantity calculations and material takeoffs.
• Prepare work plans, packages, and job hazard analyses.
• Support field surveying, data collection, and as-built records.
• Assist with daily labor timekeeping and cost reporting.
• Coordinate material deliveries and field scheduling.
• Supervise field operations and assist project management.
