Job summary

Kiewit Southwest District is seeking an Entry Level Field/Office Engineer to support field operations, estimating, and office engineering across transportation and heavy civil projects. The role requires collaborating with field crews, engineers, and subcontractors while relocating as business needs demand.

You will assist with drawings, takeoffs, data collection, and submittals, gaining exposure to cost reporting, change orders, and project coordination in a national-scale organization.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in civil engineering, construction management or related degree.
• Willingness to travel and relocate nationally as projects require.
• Strong communication, planning and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews and supervision.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and assist in work package preparation.
• Support field and office engineers with data, submittals and cost-related tasks.
• Coordinate material deliveries and help manage safety and scheduling.
