Sundt in Nashville, TN is seeking an entry-level Project Engineer assistant to serve as the technical information source for the project. You will respond to questions about drawings, specifications, shop drawings, change orders, and RFIs, and assist in writing change orders, meeting minutes, and submittals.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position requiring a four-year construction-related degree or equivalent technical/field experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Ability to interface and communicate with others is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Engineer in developing and maintaining as-built drawings and submittals, change orders, RFIs, and budget forecasting.
• Support the project management plan and change management processes, including project scope activities.
• Ensure administration of the project quality management plan and promote safety culture on the project.
• May assist in calculating daily production rates and unit costs for self-performed work; participate in risk management.
• Oversee BIM Coordination between Subcontractors and Designers and assist with LEED Certification documentation and ORD updates.
