Job summary

Sundt Construction, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Project Engineer assistant to serve as the technical source for project information.

You will respond to questions about drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and change orders, and assist in writing change orders, RFIs, meeting minutes, and submittals. The role progresses through three steps (I, II and Senior), with Step I serving as the entry level for those with limited experience.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position; requires a four-year construction-related degree or equivalent field experience.
• Experience with project management concepts and documentation is beneficial.
• Proficiency in standard office software and ability to learn company processes quickly.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Engineer in developing and maintaining as-built drawings and processing submittals, change orders, RFIs, and budget forecasting.
• Support the project management plan execution and the change management process; participate in scope activities.
• Help ensure safety culture and compliance across the project; support quality management practices.
• Assist in BIM coordination and LEED documentation as needed; provide lines, grades and layout support as required.
