Sundt Enterprise is seeking an entry-level Project Engineer to support the project team on construction sites in Texas. You will assist with drawings, submittals, RFI processing, and change orders while maintaining professional relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and suppliers.

The role includes exposure to BIM coordination, LEED documentation, and cost/control activities. This position offers growth through three progression steps and a strong ownership culture.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position requiring a four-year construction-related degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to interface and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related software.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Engineer in developing and maintaining as-built drawings, submittals, change orders, RFIs, and meeting minutes.
• Maintain professional relations with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Support budgeting, cost control, and daily production rate calculations as needed.
• Coordinate BIM between subcontractors and designers to ensure smooth workflows.
• Assist with LEED documentation and ORD updates for projects.
• Provide site layout, lines, and grades as required and maintain logbooks.
• Prepare weekly quantity tracking and related cost reports for project control.
• Support superintendents in resolving field problems and executing work.
