Job summary

Harder Mechanical Contractors Inc. is seeking an entry-level Field Engineer to plan, schedule, and execute project scopes at our western region sites. You will coordinate field teams to ensure safety, on-time delivery, and adherence to quality standards, with exposure to multiple market sectors.

The role emphasizes learning project management fundamentals, collaboration with design engineers and owner reps, and development through Harder University training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction, mechanical, industrial or civil engineering or equivalent.
• Internships in construction/engineering preferred.
• Experience with MS Office and Bluebeam; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and execute assigned project scope with safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate with field labor to maintain on-schedule progress.
• Review drawings, compile scope and quantities, and monitor progress weekly.
• Prepare work packages with labor and cost estimates and track status.
• Organize project records and support future work estimation.
