Job summary

Harder Mechanical Contractors is seeking an entry-level Field Engineer to plan, schedule, and execute project scopes while coordinating with field labor to ensure safe, on-time completion and adherence to quality standards.

You will learn to review drawings, estimate quantities, and support project teams with documentation, cost estimates, and progress tracking across commercial, industrial, and technology sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Internship experience in construction or engineering preferred.
• Willingness to travel to other regions to gain exposure to markets and industries.

Responsibilities

• Learn, promote Harder’s safety policies and protocols.
• Review construction drawings and compile project scope and quantities.
• Resolve engineering issues through communication with design engineers, owner representatives, and team members.
• Monitor field construction for compliance with plans and specifications.
• Engage in work sequence planning and organize project records.
• Estimate future work and track progress with weekly updates.
