Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a Field Engineer for our Burlington, TX project. You will participate in coordinating and executing field engineering activities to ensure technical solutions meet project goals and quality standards.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical challenges and help improve construction processes. You will collaborate with project managers, field staff, and subcontractors to address technical issues, support inspections, and promote operational

Qualifications

Associate's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
2–4 years of field engineering or construction management experience.
OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification required within 6 months of hire.
First Aid and CPR certification required.
ASHE, CHC, or relevant market certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with technical review and implementation of engineering plans to meet project specifications and quality expectations.
Coordinate with project managers, field staff, superintendents, self-perform teams and subcontractors to keep the project moving forward.
Support site inspections and assessments, identifying risks and suggesting mitigation strategies.
Gather and organize technical documents to keep information up-to-date.
Suggest process improvements by analyzing field operations and identifying prefabrication opportunities.
