Job summary

Graham Construction, a 3G Company, is seeking a Field Engineer to support project teams on Central Iowa construction sites. You will learn the fundamentals of building, assist with budgeting, bid activities, procurement, and scheduling, while maintaining strong relationships with owners, architects, and trade partners.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy in reporting, and collaboration with field leadership to deliver quality work on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; associate degree acceptable with field experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Extremely detail-oriented with leadership ability.

Responsibilities

• Learn building fundamentals and codes with the superintendent and foreman.
• Assist with budgeting, bidding, buyouts, procurement logs, RFIs, and COs.
• Provide input in project meetings with trade partners.
• Complete procurement logs and submittals timely.
• Ensure equipment and material arrive per schedule.
• Promote Graham safety policies and conduct site safety walks.
• Analyze labor and material reports with project team.
