Job summary

Barriere Construction, a CRH Company, is seeking a Field Engineer to support field and project management on assigned projects. Duties cover safety, quality, estimating and financial results, with emphasis on documentation and coordination with owners and contractors.

The role includes assisting with preconstruction through final payment, preparing schedules, and contributing to bid takeoffs. Strong communication and teamwork are essential in a dynamic heavy civil environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
• One year of construction experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication, problem solving, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist with projects from pre-construction through final payment.
• Support PM/Estimator with necessary documents for meetings.
• Maintain and communicate accurate project schedules.
• Prepare End of Shift reports with field and project management.
• Assist with bid takeoffs and bid submissions when required.
• Coordinate subcontractor documentation and material purchases.
• Communicate with owners, GC, and stakeholders on progress.
