Job summary

CRH seeks an experienced Estimator/Project Manager to prepare quantity estimates and oversee awarded projects. Responsibilities include bidding multiple jobs, cost control, site visits, and collaboration with field personnel to ensure customer satisfaction.

Required is a Bachelor's in Construction Management or Civil Engineering and 5+ years of estimating experience, with proficiency in industry tools like PlanSwift, Viewpoint, and MS Project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field.
• Five+ years construction estimating experience preferred; or equivalent education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Bid and manage multiple jobs concurrently.
• Estimate earthwork, demolition, and utility projects with quantity take-off and pricing.
• Visit project sites weekly to monitor progress and review costs with the Project Superintendent.
• Manage project profit/loss through weekly cost reviews.
• Oversee awarded projects including safety, scheduling, billing, cost review, and change orders.
