Job summary

Barriere Construction, a CRH Company, invites applications for a Field Engineer to support field and project management on assigned projects. You will assist with safety, quality, estimating, and financial results, coordinating schedules, subcontracts, and material orders.

The role requires strong communication, problem solving, and teamwork, with a high school diploma (associate degree preferred). Located in Louisiana, this on-site position offers growth within a major infrastructure builder.

Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred Associate degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Good problem solving and organizational ability.

Responsibilities

• Assist with projects from pre-construction through final payment.
• Participate in internal and external planning meetings.
• Gather documents for meetings with PM/Estimator.
• Ensure subcontracts and POs are approved prior to work.
• Maintain and communicate project schedules to stakeholders.
• Support monthly estimates and billing processes.
• Assist with final project inspections and documentation.
