Job summary

Lithko Contracting is seeking an entry-level Project Engineer to join our concrete construction teams, with positions across multiple sites including Bowie, MD. You’ll work with managers and mentors to understand project scope, safety and quality plans, and to advance work objectives.

Responsibilities include developing execution plans, tracking progress, and adapting plans based on feedback. You may assist with estimating, field engineering, forming walls/columns, inspections, and on-site labor

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Degree in Construction Management, Concrete Industry Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Equivalent work or military experience accepted.
• Willingness to perform field labor and lift at least 50 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

• Understand project scope and schedule with managers and mentors, including safety and quality plans.
• Develop plans to execute work objectives, track progress, and replan based on feedback.
• Manage daily safety, quality, and execution of work objectives.
• Learn through hands-on performance with teams during the project execution process.
• Duties may include estimating, field engineering (line and grade), forming walls and columns, inspections, loadout, place/finish, slab prep, and more.
