Job summary

Wolfram Manufacturing is seeking a hands-on Field Engineer to be the ambassador of our Caron Engineering solutions in Austin. You will own end-to-end installations from planning to post-installation documentation, ensuring systems meet customer specifications.

When not on the road, you will help implement, maintain, and troubleshoot manufacturing technologies in our shop, training users and creating clear, actionable documentation for teammates and customers.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in creating detailed and accurate documentation.
• Problem-solving and analytical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate travel and scheduling with customers.
• Install, test, and document systems per specifications.
• Conduct user training tailored to customer needs.
• Create detailed backups of ladder logic, configurations, wiring diagrams, and programs.
• Support internal teams with troubleshooting and quality improvement.
