Job summary

JE Dunn Construction Company is seeking a Field Engineer for the Advanced Facilities Group (AFG) to support large Industrial & Manufacturing, Data Center, and Semiconductor projects in various locations. The role sits on-site with a focus on safety, self-perform work, and cooperation with foremen, superintendents, and subcontractors.

The candidate should have a construction-management or engineering background, with 0–2 years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field preferred.
• Participation in a federally required training or apprenticeship program preferred depending on location.
• Equivalent relevant experience will be considered in lieu of the above requirements.

Responsibilities

• Actively participates in all aspects of the project safety plan and culture.
• Works with tools and executes self-perform work embedded with a crew.
• Learns company best practice standards and construction techniques on the job.
• Builds relationships with trades people and project team members.
• Develops understanding of company functions and how they contribute to project success.
• Learns and applies equipment usage standards for building processes.
• Collaborates with others and demonstrates teamwork.
• Learns Lean practices in daily activities.
• Participates in weekly work plan meetings as needed.
