Job summary

JE Dunn Construction Company is seeking a Field Engineer for the Advanced Facilities Group (AFG) to support mission-critical and industrial projects across the country. The role emphasizes safety, hands-on learnings, and collaboration with craftsmen, foremen, and project teams.

Ideal candidates bring 0-2 years of construction experience, a relevant degree, and a willingness to participate in training programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field preferred.
• Participation in federally required training or apprenticeship program preferred.
• Equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
• 0-2 years construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Actively participates in all aspects of the project-specific safety plan and culture.
• Learns and participates in safety culture with injury-free focus.
• Works with tools and executes self-perform work embedded with a crew.
• Gains knowledge of company standards for building techniques through on-the-job training.
• Builds relationships and communicates with foremen, journeymen, superintendents, subcontractors, etc.
