Job summary

Franklin Energy seeks an Energy Auditor I to perform on-site energy assessments for small business tenants, building owners, and utility customers in North Carolina. You will install energy-saving devices and provide clear recommendations to improve efficiency and participate in rebate programs.

You will collaborate with property managers, document findings, and lead outreach to promote energy efficiency programs, with a focus on delivering high-quality customer service and accurate data for

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience required.
• 1-2 years in marketing, community organizing, or related field preferred.
• Strong communication and data entry abilities required.

Responsibilities

• Promote the energy efficiency program to customers through scheduled energy assessments.
• Work with building owners and property managers to provide energy efficiency advice and assist in participating in programs.
• Deliver professional, high quality services to utility customers.
• Complete on-site energy assessments identifying key gas and electric saving opportunities.
• Install energy saving devices including lighting and programmable thermostats.
