Job summary

Bay Mills Indian Community seeks an EMT-Paramedic to provide advanced pre-hospital care in compliance with MDHHS and EUPMCA protocols. You will perform diagnostics, treatment, airway management, IV therapy, ECG monitoring, and on-scene leadership with police and fire agencies.

Applicants must hold a Michigan pre-hospital license, ACLS/PALS certification, and demonstrate strong communication and physical endurance.

Qualifications

• Must be ACLS/PALS certified.
• Current Michigan pre-hospital license through MDHHS.
• Strong communication and confidentiality skills.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle operation, care and maintenance.
• Patient history and assessment per EUPMCA protocols.
• Basic patient care per EUPMCA protocols.
• Advanced patient care per EUPMCA protocols.
• Patient transportation as outlined in protocols.
• Radio and written communication per EUPMCA protocols.
• Mass casualty assessment and triage.
• Scene safety and control.
• Operation of light equipment and extrication tools.
• Attend all mandatory trainings designated through the EMS Coordinator.
• Other duties may be assigned.
