Job summary

Pantera Capital is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with behavioral health providers, untangle their hardest problems, and ship software in days.

You will own data migrations from legacy EHRs, work closely with clinicians, billers, and executives, and translate field learnings into the product roadmap. No CS degree required. No minimum years of experience. No brand-name résumé needed.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineer who wants to be in front of customers.
• Dangerous with messy data, legacy systems, and ambiguous problems.
• Product instincts: you know what to build, not just how.
• You can hold a room with clinicians, billers, and executives.
• A bias toward shipping and getting things in front of users.

Responsibilities

• Own complex data migrations from legacy EHRs and billing systems, end to end
• Embed with providers and learn how their practices actually run
• Map tangled customer problems into scoped, buildable work
• Write real software that ships to production - not prototypes, not decks
• Build side by side with product engineers on our most complex features
• Bring the field back with you: what you learn shapes the roadmap
