Assort Health is seeking a Head of Forward Deployed Engineering to lead the team turning our AI agent platform into production systems for health system deployments and complex EHR integrations. You will shape deployment patterns, drive field feedback into product improvements, and scale a high-performing organization across healthcare customers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• 2+ years leading customer-facing technical teams.
• Experience scaling technical implementation or deployment teams in fast-growing B2B/enterprise software companies.

Responsibilities

• Scale the Forward Deployed Engineering team via hiring, coaching, and developing a high-performing organization.
• Own end-to-end technical delivery for our most strategic customers.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate customer needs into scalable technical solutions and influence product roadmap.
• Establish deployment patterns, best practices, and internal tooling to move faster and scale.
• Drive field-to-product feedback loops to turn implementations into platform features.
• Be hands-on when needed: lead technical discovery with strategic accounts and debug production issues.
