Job summary

DOC SERVICES, a national electromechanical field service provider, seeks technicians to service equipment in big box retail environments. You will work from home and respond to scheduled service calls, performing preventive and reactive maintenance, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems, and ensuring safety compliance.

Candidates should have at least two years of repair experience, strong schematics reading ability, a valid license, and the ability to travel to customer locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years of equipment repair experience or combination of training and experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge; ability to read schematics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and call-management software.
• Know and understand safety regulations related to equipment repair.
• Strong organization skills; self-motivated and detail oriented.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record and proof of insurance.
• Satisfactory background check; professional appearance and attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform billable maintenance, troubleshooting and servicing of equipment.
• Abide by OSHA, customer and company safety regulations including PPE.
• Respond to service calls within customer expectations and company requirements.
• Document all work using handheld device as required by customer and DOC.
• Perform cost-effective service and repairs while maintaining quality.
• Order parts needed for the repair and manage inventory.
• Travel to and from customer locations; be prepared with tools and safety gear.
• Educate or make recommendations to customers on preventable service issues.
