Job summary

The Pond Guy, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to provide hands-on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of fountain, aeration, and related pond equipment. This role involves shop work, outdoor field duties, and service at customer locations to ensure safe and reliable operation.

You will diagnose equipment issues, perform repairs, and support installations while maintaining service records and delivering excellent customer service in the field.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of technical or mechanical maintenance experience with hands-on electrical troubleshooting and repair.
• Intermediate electrical knowledge; experience with motors, controls, wiring, and high-voltage systems preferred.
• 2-3 years of customer service experience recommended.
• Proficient computer skills including service software and basic office programs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain, and repair electrical and mechanical components of fountain, aeration, and related pond/lake equipment.
• Complete service calls at customer locations, outdoors, and assist with installations of complete systems.
• Use electrical testing equipment to identify failures and verify repairs.
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding issues, maintenance needs and solutions.
• Complete documentation of diagnostics, work performed, parts used, and repair trends.
