Job summary

Primoris Energy Services is seeking a Lead Electrical Field Engineer to provide planning and technical support to the construction team on energy projects. You will act as the main contact to resolve on-site issues and lead WorkFace Planning, including work packaging and status updates.

You will oversee field operations, manage scope, schedule, and budget while ensuring safety and quality, coordinating with subcontractors, clients, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of field engineering experience in power/industrial projects preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field operations to meet schedule, budget, and quality targets.
• Provide technical guidance and resolve field issues; generate RFIs with clients/subcontractors.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with specs and safety standards.
• Plan work packages aligned with the project schedule and coordinate with teams.
• Prepare status reports on schedule, progress, staffing, safety, and issues.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders for smooth execution.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and review drawings/submittals.
• Implement quality control procedures to meet specifications.
• Ensure safety regulations and company policies are followed.
