Job summary

Percepto is seeking a Unmanned Aircraft System (Drone) Field Technician to join our nationwide operations team. You will work primarily in the field across Florida and the U.S., supporting deployment, maintenance and testing of our autonomous drone-inspection systems from our Riviera Beach hub when not at client sites.

The role requires a FAA Part 107 license, a valid U.S. driver’s license, and hands-on technician experience.

Qualifications

• Licensed FAA Part 107 drone operator.
• Valid U.S. Driver's license.
• 1–2 years of proven drone operation experience.
• 2+ years as a technician (electrician, mechanic, assembly, repair).
• Ability to handle small components and perform delicate tasks.
• Willingness to travel regionally and nationally (50–80%).
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Support deployment, installation, and ongoing maintenance at client sites.
• Troubleshoot, test, repair, and maintain aerial and ground systems.
• Plan and execute activities, coordinating with internal and external teams.
• Follow procedures and provide improvement feedback.
• Ensure readiness of flight/testing equipment and tools.
• Adhere to schedules and client expectations.
• Conduct operations safely per FAA, OSHA, and client protocols.
• Document work performed and provide status updates.
• Participate in field testing of Percepto's autonomous systems.
• Test capabilities and identify areas for improvement.
