Job summary

Percepto seeks a Drone Operator to join our field operations team in Texas, working from the Midland, TX hub when not on client sites. You will deploy and operate Percepto systems at customer locations across the state, collaborating with the operations, engineering, sales and marketing teams to ensure successful installations and customer satisfaction.

The role emphasizes independent field work, strict safety compliance with FAA and OSHA, and strong communication with clients.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of proven technical record operating drones.
• 2+ years of technician work experience (electrician, mechanic, assembly, repair).
• Licensed FAA Part 107 drone operator is a plus.
• Willingness to travel 50–70% to client sites in Texas.
• Must reside within 50 miles from the Midland, TX hub.

Responsibilities

• Conduct deployments, installations, and operation of Percepto systems at client sites.
• Install, validate, troubleshoot, and repair aerial and ground systems.
• Plan and execute assigned activities, coordinating with internal and external teams.
• Follow procedures and provide feedback for improvement.
• Maintain equipment readiness and conduct testing as required.
• Comply with FAA, OSHA, and customer safety protocols; document work performed.
