Job summary

Percepto is seeking a UAS Deployment Technician to join the field operations team. The role involves working remotely with customers across Texas and nationwide, deploying and supporting drone systems, and coordinating with multiple teams to ensure project success.

Travel 50–70% is required; FAA Part 107 is a plus, with relocation considerations to Midland, TX. Strong communication and fieldwork skills are essential for success in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed FAA Part 107 drone operator is a plus.
• Must reside within 50 miles from the Midland, TX operations hub.
• Willingness to travel (drive-based travel 50-70% to client sites in Texas).
• At least 1-2 years of proven technical record operating drones.
• At least 2 years of proven technician work experience (electrician, mechanic, assembly, repair).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, flexible environment.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, install, and operate Percepto systems at client sites.
• Install, validate, troubleshoot, and repair aerial and ground systems.
• Plan and execute activities; collaborate with internal/external teams.
• Follow procedures and provide feedback for improvement.
• Maintain flight/testing equipment and tools readiness.
