Job summary

Rush Truck Centers is seeking a Used Truck Sales Representative to drive truck sales within an assigned territory, primarily through in-person visits away from the main location.

The role emphasizes self-generation of opportunities, maintaining strong customer relationships, and building a robust sales pipeline. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of related experience; a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED completed.
• At least 1 year of related sales experience or training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability as per Rush requirements.

Responsibilities

• Self-generate new and existing customer opportunities.
• Maintain territory relationships with in-person visits at least 3 days a week.
• Build a strong sales pipeline with outside calls and follow-up on quotes.
• Make a minimum of 3 in-person visits OR 20 outbound calls daily; document in CRM.
• Use Microsoft CRM to manage accounts and document communications weekly.
• Coordinate with Finance, Insurance and Service departments as needed.
• Promote and sell services: Parts, Service, Body Shop, Warranties and RushCare options.
• Meet sales targets: 6 units in 6 months; 50 CRM accounts; contracts as listed.
