U.S. Bank in Medford, OR is seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator to originate loans in assigned markets, take applications, and conduct preliminary underwriting reviews. You will submit files for processing and underwriting and ensure required documents are obtained promptly from sources.

This role requires sales ability, knowledge of underwriting requirements, and compliance with NMLS/SAFE Act regulations. Strong communication and independence are highly valued.

Qualifications

• NMLS registration under the SAFE Act and Regulation Z and ongoing compliance with all registration requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of Mortgage, Sales, or Real Estate experience

Responsabilités

• Originate mortgage loans in assigned market.
• Take loan applications and conduct preliminary underwriting reviews.
• Submit loan files to processing and underwriting for approval.
• Follow up to secure required documents for processing, underwriting, and closing.
• Spend at least 50% of time conducting activities away from U.S. Bank locations.
