Job summary

Sunflower Bank, N.A. in Medford, OR is seeking a full-time Mortgage Loan Originator to develop leads and originate mortgage loans through branches, realtors, and builders. You will respond to referrals, understand mortgage regulations, and maintain strong customer relationships while meeting production standards.

The role is fully commissioned with a draw; compensation details will be provided at offer. Strong communication and independent judgment are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Must have prior loan origination experience.
• 2+ years of lending experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience; MBA or Master’s Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, lead and originate mortgage loans through branches, realtors and builders.
• Interview mortgage loan applicants.
• Take loan applications from customers.
• Send applicant’s file to processors in the centralized loan support area.
• Respond to referrals from branch personnel and others.
• Assist in obtaining additional data or information when requested by processors.
• Cross-sell all bank products and services.
