Arcadis seeks an entry-level Geologist/Environmental Scientist to join our team in San Francisco or Concord, CA. The role blends fieldwork with office tasks, including data analysis, report writing, and client communications, with substantial travel expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s of Science in Geology, Hydrogeology, or closely related field.
• Preferred Master of Science in Geology or closely related field.
• Current OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project/Task Managers in planning and executing environmental site characterization, investigation, and remediation.
• Conduct fieldwork including drilling oversight for soil sampling and groundwater wells; groundwater sampling; vapor surveys.
• Prepare subcontracts, write technical reports, and support proposal and schedule/budget tasks.
• Travel regionally up to 1–2 days per week; occasional U.S. travel up to two weeks per occurrence.
