Job summary

Arcadis U.S. Inc. in Seattle is seeking an entry-level Geologist to join our Resilience Environment team. This role combines field and office work, with 70–90% time spent in the field, and offers opportunities to participate in environmental site characterization and remediation projects.

Candidates should be prepared to travel regionally for field activities, work safely, and collaborate with project teams while developing technical reporting and data interpretation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Geology required.
• Current OSHA HAZWOPER 40 HR / 8 HR training preferred.
• 1 year of professional experience preferred.
• Master of Science in Geology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist PMs and TMs in planning environmental site characterization and remediation tasks.
• Perform fieldwork including soil, groundwater, and vapor sampling.
• Prepare subcontracts, write technical reports and work plans.
• Travel regionally for fieldwork up to 1–2 days weekly, with occasional US travel.
