Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an Environmental Geologist to join the Resilience Environment team in the Mountain West. The role blends field (30-50%) and office work, offering mentorship and growth opportunities.

You will work with engineers and regulators on site characterization, permitting, and remediation projects in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities include field surveys, drilling oversight for soil and groundwater, reporting, and data interpretation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s of Science in Geology, Hydrogeology, or closely related field.
• 5 years of experience.
• Current OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training.
• MSHA 24 hr Surface Mine qualification.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist PMs in planning baseline surveys, permitting, data evaluations, and remediation tasks.
• Fieldwork including drilling oversight for soil sampling and groundwater activities.
• Prepare technical reports, work plans, and memoranda for clients and regulators.
• Coordinate with project teams and regulatory agencies; analyze field data.
