Arcadis is seeking an Entry-Level Geologist to join the Resilience Environment team in Sacramento, CA. The role blends fieldwork and office tasks, including data analysis, report preparation, and client communications, with travel up to 75% in the first two years and periodic U.S. travel.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Geology or related field; MS degree and OSHA HAZWOPER training are preferred. Start date is Summer 2027 for graduates in May 2027.

Formación

• Bachelor’s of Science in Geology, Engineering, or closely related field (i.e., environmental, biological, physical science)
• Master of Science degree in Geology, Engineering or closely related field (i.e., environmental, biological, physical science)
• Current OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training (preferred)

Responsabilidades

• Prepare subcontracts and oversee the work of subcontractors.
• Writing and preparing technical reports, work plans, letters, and memoranda
• Office work may include task coordination, data compilation and interpretation, cost estimates, health & safety plan preparation, report writing, regulatory file reviews, proposal writing, project strategy development, schedule and budget management, and establishment of subcontracts.
• Conducting field work including soil, groundwater, and/or vapor sampling in the field with regional travel up to 1–2 days per week, and occasional U.S. travel for up to two weeks at a time.
