Job summary

Scale is accelerating the development of AI across the world's most important organizations. The Forward Deployed PM role embeds with customers to translate real operational reality into input for the core platform, ensuring production-ready deployments and durable customer value.

The FDPM owns outcomes inside enterprise accounts, builds trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, and guides product direction by distinguishing constraints in product and execution.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in product management, technical program management, or a customer-facing product ownership role.
• Demonstrated record of shipping products or platform capabilities into large organizations — not pilots or proofs-of-concept.
• Extreme ownership and follow-through: closes loops without reminders and drives outcomes across teams.
• Comfortable operating with senior customer stakeholders (VP/C-level) and senior engineers simultaneously; credible presence in high-stakes rooms on both sides.
• Strong judgment under pressure: makes good calls quickly with incomplete information; knows escalation vs. resolve.
• Technical fluency sufficient to discuss architectural tradeoffs with platform engineers, not deep coding.

Responsibilities

• Own product outcomes for our highest impact enterprise accounts and be the accountable PM for delivery and customer value.
• Build trusted advisory relationships with VP/C-level buyers and senior technical leads; serve as reliable escalation point.
• Drive deployments from contract to production; understand what 'production-ready' means and close the gap.
• Translate real customer workflows and priorities into high-signal input for core platform teams with evidence-backed perspective.
• Identify blockers in product vs. execution, and route to the right channel for resolution.
• Partner closely with FDEs so the account runs as a coordinated team.
• Identify and develop expansion opportunities grounded in demonstrated customer value.
• Represent customer reality to platform and leadership with credibility to influence decisions.
