Job summary

Scale is building the agentic operating system for AI deployment across the world’s most important organizations. The Platform PM determines foundational needs and sets the bar for reliable delivery across FD teams.

The role focuses on defining the foundation, sequencing work, recognizing patterns for core graduation, maintaining quality, and enabling delivery teams to focus on solving the hardest customer problems. Collaboration across engineering, PMs, and business units is essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in product management with platform, infrastructure, or developer-facing products at production bar.
• Defined and shipped platform capabilities, not just features on top of a platform.
• Strong sequencing judgment across customer commitments and team velocity.
• Technical fluency to discuss architectural tradeoffs with platform engineers.
• Extreme ownership and follow-through across teams.
• Clear, precise communication tailored to audience.

Responsibilities

• Define the foundation of the core platform layer across capability pillars.
• Sequence platform work to align with customer commitments and team velocity.
• Identify patterns and decide when to graduate capabilities to the core.
• Maintain a high quality bar so capabilities are trusted in production.
• Unlock delivery team time to focus on solving hard customer problems.
• Partner with platform engineering, forward deployed PMs, and BU leads to surface signal.
