The role emphasizes field awareness, strong analysis, and use of project management tools to forecast needs and keep projects on schedule.

The successful candidate will log materials, track procurement, assist with submittals and RFIs, and maintain transparent reporting for timely decisions.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate across departments and with field staff.
• Ability to analyze project needs and forecast material requirements.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret project schedules.

Responsibilities

• Site management: 75% on-field to log, store, and map materials.
• Inventory management: conduct onsite checks for consumables.
• Documentation: compile daily activity reports and maintain site records.
• Liaison: collate daily reports and coordinate field deliveries.
• Administrative tasks: assist with submittals, RFIs, purchasing, and schedule updates.
• Cross-department communication: facilitate smooth info flow between detailing, PM, and shop.
• Progress tracking: monitor purchases, fabrication, and deliveries; maintain shop drawings.
• Reporting: draft memorandums and track hours to meet budget/time constraints.
• Forecasting: anticipate field needs and plan material deliveries.
