Job summary

Equipment Depot is seeking a Dock Technician to install and service dock equipment at customer locations, primarily outdoors. The role involves repairing dock levelers, shelters, seals, bumpers, and doors, with travel between customer sites and shop work as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 12+ months related experience in maintaining either commercial doors or dock equipment and/or training; welding experience preferred.
• Ability to read safety rules and operation instructions; ability to write routine reports.

Responsibilities

• Repair and service dock and doors.
• Order/obtain parts and complete paperwork.
• Communicate with dispatcher to determine the work schedule.
• Drive to job sites and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Maintain professional image of self and vehicles.
