Job summary

Equipment Depot seeks a Dock Technician to install and service dock equipment at customer sites in Kentucky. You will repair dock levelers, shelters, seals, bumpers, and doors, often outdoors in varying weather. Strong welding and electrical basics are preferred, with a valid driver’s license and good customer communication.

You’ll coordinate with dispatch, obtain parts, complete paperwork, and provide estimates while upholding safety and professionalism at all times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 12+ months related experience in dock equipment or doors.
• Welding experience preferred.
• Basic electrical experience required, more advanced a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability.

Responsibilities

• Repair and service dock and doors.
• Communicate with dispatcher to determine work schedule and drive to job site.
• Obtain parts, complete paperwork, and provide estimates.
• Diagnose equipment problems and meet customer specifications.
• Maintain a professional image and safety standards.
