Job summary

Equipment Depot is seeking a Dock Technician in Cincinnati, OH to install and service dock equipment at customer sites. The role largely involves outdoor work and requires driving to job sites, basic electrical tasks, and communicating with dispatchers to schedule work.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, 12+ months related experience with dock equipment or doors, and welding experience is a plus. Valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED; or 12+ months related experience in maintaining either commercial doors or dock equipment and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Welding experience preferred.
• Language Ability: Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; write routine reports and correspondence; speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.

Responsibilities

• Repair and service dock and doors.
• Diagnose equipment problems and offer solutions to meet customer specifications.
• Order/obtain parts.
• Complete paperwork.
