Hugg & Hall Equipment Company is seeking a Field Dock & Door Service Technician to install, diagnose, and repair warehouse docks and doors at customer sites. The role requires hands-on mechanical work, strong communication with customers about downtime, and a focus on safety during field operations.

The technician will perform new installations, service calls, and support the Warehouse Products Service Team, traveling as needed and adhering to safety protocols while maintaining high service

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience installing and repairing loading dock equipment, commercial doors, and high-speed doors preferred.
• Minimum 21 years of age with a clean driving record
• Above-average communication skills
• Ability to complete DOT medical certification if assigned DOT-rated vehicle
• Possessing or having the ability to obtain a complete line of tools

Responsabilités

• Repair Warehouse Docks and Rollup Doors to bring each customer's facility back to operational safety standards
• Perform New Installation on Dock and Door projects
• Effectively communicate with all involved parties about possible downtime and job progress
• Operate in a safe, efficient manner with minimal supervision
