Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a skilled Dock Door Technician to maintain and repair dock doors, levelers, and related loading dock equipment across distribution and warehouse facilities.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read schematics and repair documentation; travel between sites is required. This role offers hands-on, in-field maintenance with OSHA-compliant practices.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience servicing dock doors, dock levelers, overhead doors, or similar industrial equipment.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and repair documentation.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on dock doors, dock levelers, seals, shelters, and related equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues.
• Inspect equipment for safe operation and compliance with standards.
• Complete work orders and maintenance documentation through the CMMS system.
• Respond to service calls and equipment breakdowns in a timely manner.
• Travel between customer or company sites as required.
