Job summary

Cook Medical Inc. is seeking a District Manager to drive sales of medical devices and services across Ohio, Michigan and Kentucky, with travel as a core part of the role.

Build relationships with physicians, hospitals and outpatient facilities to grow the business and execute territory plans. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent background, medical device sales experience, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; or experience providing a comparable background.
• Previous experience in medical device sales is required.
• Experience with Urology or BPH is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong problem solving and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and expand existing business.
• Develop, maintain and execute an annual territory business plan.
• Meet and exceed projected sales goals.
• Participate in national, state, and regional sales exhibits.
• Maintain timely expense reports.
• Stay current on the managed health care environment.
• Educate customers through conversations, presentations and literature.
• Travel overnight as needed.
• Collaborate across levels of the global organization.
• Adhere to safety requirements and Cook quality standards.
