Job summary

FirstEnergy Corp is seeking a qualified candidate for Meter Services within the Distribution function. The level offered depends on experience and fit, with opportunities to coordinate meter work, schedule tasks, and address regulatory complaints and claims requests.

Responsibilities include working with CREWs, FieldNet, and SAP-related notifications, supporting various groups, and assisting during emergencies or storm-related activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Engineering Technology or related discipline.
• 0-1 year of related work experience (Level I).
• In lieu of degree, minimum 2 years related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Schedule work and resolve issues in CREWs and FieldNet; support other areas with CREWs, FieldNet and ZCMW issues.
• Assist in coordinating Distributed Generation (DG) customer meter work with Engineering and Design; assist with SAP notifications.
• Assist with processing case-by-case SAP notifications that do not process (errors, field follow up, billing problems).
• Aid field personnel such as contacting field crews, dispatching unsafe conditions and same-day orders, and answering inquiries.

Education

Bachelor's degree (Engineering Technology or related discipline)

In lieu of a bachelor's degree minimum 2 years related work experience
