Job summary

Service Wizard is seeking a Dispatcher to efficiently coordinate technicians and calls. This full-time, non-exempt role reports to the Dispatch Manager and emphasizes timely appointments and effective communication.

The candidate should have at least 2 years of dispatch experience, strong communication skills, the ability to multitask across screens, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Competitive hourly pay with benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of versatile Dispatch experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college preferred.
• Minimum 45 wpm; manage multiple computer screens.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong decision-making, diplomacy and issue resolution skills.
• Excellent phone and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Proficient data entry and general computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Proactively gain and maintain a full understanding of the portfolio of products and services.
• Effectively summarize and relay information to stakeholders.
• Achieve productivity standards and goals set by the company while maintaining high quality.
• Work independently within guidelines and complete work without requiring follow-up.
• Analyze data from previous appointments and assign the appropriate technician.
• Communicate opportunities to improve appointment outcomes and drive performance.
• Manage a geographical territory to optimize appointment outcomes.
• Understand and communicate expectations, following processes even when challenged.
• Monitor and correct incorrect work-orders and coordinate with managers to resolve issues.
• Alert managers if processes or expectations are not met.
