Job summary

Axis Portable Air is seeking a Branch Coordinator in the United States (Illinois) to oversee dispatch, scheduling, and field operations. This role supports sales, coordinates equipment delivery and installation, and ensures safety compliance while managing contracts and regional growth.

You will travel to customer sites as needed, maintain 24/7 availability for peak periods, and participate in a Team Ownership program with substantial growth opportunities and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in operations, dispatch, or leadership in HVAC/mechanical/service industries or 1+ year as Field HVAC technician.
• Ability to manage dispatch, scheduling and resource allocation to meet customer demands.
• Familiarity with HVAC/mechanical equipment is a plus.
• Strong communication and problem-solving for customer relations.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with multi-tasking capabilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operations software.
• Understanding of safety regulations and compliance.
• Valid driver’s license with clean 5-year history.
• Willingness to grow in contract and branch management roles.

Responsibilities

• Support Sales Activity: create quotes and proposals; communicate ETAs with sales to update customers.
• Manage Daily Dispatch: schedule and dispatch routes; optimize productivity and resources.
• Enforce Safety and Compliance: lead safety training and maintain a safe working environment.
• Contract Management: work with AR and finance to ensure contract accuracy.
• Load, Deliver & Install Equipment: travel to customer sites, including long drives or overnight stays.
