Job summary

UES, Inc. is seeking a Dispatcher to coordinate daily job assignments for Field Engineering Technicians and optimize scheduling to ensure timely service delivery.

The role serves as the primary contact for client requests, using dispatch software to align deployment with project needs and site locations. This position also supports lab sample logistics, equipment check-outs, and maintains proper documentation for scheduling, purchase orders, and technician records.

Qualifications

• Strong communication with clients via phone and email.
• Ability to document conversations and prepare work orders.
• Experience with scheduling and dispatching processes preferred.
• Proficiency with basic laptop tasks and email.
• Familiarity with field data collection procedures.

Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally with client representatives via phone and email for job assignments.
• Document conversations with clients and prepare work orders.
• Coordinate job assignments in relation to the location of Field Technicians using dispatching software.
• Manage the scheduling, deployment, and Time Off usage of all Field Technicians.
• Organizes laboratory sample retrieval and notifies Laboratory Supervisor of pending rushes.
• Maintains log of Nuclear equipment checked in/out and distributes dosimeter badges.
• Assist the Productivity Project Manager with paperwork issues.
• Obtain and organize all purchase orders prior to scheduling Technicians.
• Adhere to all safety procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
