Job summary

Savage is hiring a Mobile Diesel Mechanic in Carlin, NV. The role involves performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing heavy fleet equipment across locations. You will ensure compliance with OSHA and safety guidelines, working with a team to keep operations efficient.

This is an evening shift with a strong benefits package. Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of semi-truck fleet experience, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to read and interpret safety and operation

Qualifications

• Two to three years of Semi-Truck Fleet Mechanic experience.
• Experience with suspensions, rear ends, transmissions and air brake systems.
• Ability to identify repairs by computer-based systems.
• English communication skills are essential for safety and operations.
• CDL A is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment in the field.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records with Maintenance Supervisor.
• Other general maintenance duties as required.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure overall operation success.
