Job summary

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of Heavy Duty truck experience.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems experience.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and have own tools.
• Proficiency with diagnostic scanning tools and manuals.
• Preferred: completion of a technical certification program for mobile heavy equipment repair.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and diagnose Heavy Duty trucks and other equipment.
• Repair and/or replace any defective parts, components, or systems.
• Test equipment once repaired to ensure operation is complete.
• Travel to various remote sites to accomplish field repairs and/or Preventative Maintenance on internal and external trucks.
• Document steps taken throughout the repair process on work orders and list supplies used for the repairs.
• Occasional welding on equipment as needed.
