Job summary

Savage Services in Carlin, NV is seeking a Mobile Diesel Mechanic to perform field maintenance and repairs on our fleet. The position runs Tuesday–Saturday, 6 p.m.–4 a.m., with an hourly pay of $30.00–$36.00 and benefits that include time off and retirement plans.

Join a team with a young truck fleet and built-in overtime opportunities. You will diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools, repair suspensions, transmissions, and air brake systems, and ensure compliance with OSHA and company

Qualifications

Two to three years of Semi-Truck Fleet Mechanic experience; experience with a variety of trucks is a plus.
Proficiency in diagnosing repairs by computer-based systems; ability to visually identify issues is a big plus.
Welding aluminum is a plus.
Class A CDL is a plus, but not required.
Strong English communication and clear, effective collaboration with team members.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment in the field.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment.
Ensure work complies with regulatory requirements and industry best practices; maintain accurate maintenance records.
Other general maintenance duties as required.
Collaborate with team members outside the department to support overall operations.
